Reinforcement (blog 6)

After listening to this podcast I still have the same idea of children/people today. Technology is placed in the lives of children at younger ages each year, rather than playing with building blocks and matchbox cars they are playing with an the latest apple or android product out on the market. Their idea of solving a problem is simply "Google it". We all fall victim to this at one point or another, if there is simply no other way to get the answer I need I will google it to just have the project done in a timely fashion. This reinforces the power of the world wide web and other technology alike.

  1. I agree that children today do not play like children from the past. Because there are so much more opportunities for them to play with. People are becoming lazier and lazier because something else can do the work for them. For example: using google to search something instead of going to a library and actually searching for it.

  2. Seeing children on Iphones or IPads sicken me, because they can't be entertained with just building blocks as you said. They something more interesting. I fall victim to the "Just Google it" too much. It's amazing that we can find answers quickly but it stops me from really thinking for myself.
